Effective Date: January 1, 2026  |  Last Updated: October 24, 2026  |  Hospital: Nivya Respiratory and Multispeciality Hospitals

1 Scope & Nature of Services

Nivya Respiratory and Multispeciality Hospitals operates a registered tertiary medical care and multi-speciality healthcare facility at 110-F/5 Barani Nagar, Vannarpettai, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu 627003.

As a healthcare institution, our online platform (nivyahospitals.com) provides medical consultation booking and healthcare service scheduling. Because our services are professional medical and diagnostic treatments, no tangible physical goods are shipped. Instead, services are fulfilled via Digital Delivery (instant booking token and digital receipt) followed by Physical In-Person Clinical Fulfillment at our hospital premises.

2 Digital Delivery Workflow

Upon completing your appointment reservation and successful payment transaction through the Razorpay Payment Gateway, your service delivery commences immediately through the following sequential stages:

01
Instant On-Screen Receipt

Immediate digital receipt displayed on screen with unique Booking ID (NVY-XXXXXXXX), doctor name, and date & time slot.

02
SMS / WhatsApp Delivery

An automated confirmation message is dispatched within 5 to 15 minutes to your registered mobile phone number.

03
Email Confirmation

If an email address was provided, an official electronic booking receipt with clinic directions and preparation notes is emailed promptly.

5 Patient Arrival & Check-in Instructions

To ensure smooth delivery of your medical consultation, we advise patients to observe the following recommendations:

  • Arrival Time: Please arrive at the hospital 10 to 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment slot to allow for basic vitals recording (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation).
  • Documentation: Carry previous medical records, ongoing prescription medications, diagnostic scan films, and blood investigation reports for the doctor's comprehensive review.
  • Fasting Requirements: If your appointment includes fasting blood investigations (e.g. lipid profile, fasting blood glucose), please ensure 8 to 10 hours of overnight fasting prior to morning sample collection.

6 Clinical Delays, Emergencies & Force Majeure

Healthcare delivery involves dynamic medical realities:

  • Emergency Priority: Critically ill patients arriving at the emergency casualty department or code resuscitation alerts in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) take immediate medical precedence.
  • Unavoidable Delays: In the event that a specialist is unexpectedly detained in emergency surgery, our patient coordinators will notify waiting patients immediately.
  • Remedies for Hospital Delays: If a delay exceeds 45 minutes, patients may choose to:
    • Wait with priority placement once the physician returns,
    • Reschedule to any preferred future date/time without additional fees, or
    • Request a 100% full refund under our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7 Delivery of Diagnostic Reports & Prescriptions

Following your clinical evaluation:

  • Doctor Prescriptions: Physical printed prescriptions and digital clinical summaries are handed over to the patient immediately at the conclusion of the consultation.
  • Routine Blood & Urine Tests: Results are processed in our certified hospital laboratory and delivered within 2 to 4 hours on the same day.
